Qalyptus Partner Program Policies

All Qalyptus partners are required to complete the agreement and remain in compliance with these terms. This page contains everything you need to know to be a Qalyptus partner, including resources, recommendations, and some fun legal stuff.

Partner status

1. Points per product sold

When you resell new licenses of Qalyptus products, you receive points that increase your partner status and rewards. Find out how many points you earn for each license sold.

– Qalyptus Desktop: 1 point

– Qalyptus Server Business: 4 points

– Qalyptus Server Enterprise: 5 points

– Creator: 1 point

– Qalyptus Cloud Business: 4 points

– Qalyptus Cloud Enterprise: 5 points

2. Status levels

Your status level and discount rate are calculated based on the number of points you have earned.

a- Affiliate Partner

You are at this level if you refer your customer to purchase Qalyptus licenses.

You receive a commission based on the customer’s first purchase (one-time commission). You will receive 20% of the total paid for all types of products for the first 12 complete months from the date of the customer’s first order.

For example, suppose you refer a customer, and they purchase two Qalyptus Desktop licenses and one Qalyptus Server Enterprise license simultaneously or separately (in the first 12 months). In that case, you will earn 7 points and receive 192€ + 600€ for a total of 792€.

To generate recurring revenue, you must have a lasting relationship with the customer; purchase the Qalyptus licenses on behalf of your company, and then resell them to your customer.

b- Silver Partner (1 – 159 points)

Receive discounts for customer’s purchases and renewals (lifetime commission*). You will receive 20% of the total paid for all types of products.

c- Gold Partner (160 – 264 points)

Receive discounts for customer’s purchases and renewals (lifetime commission*). You will receive 25% of the total paid for all types of products.

d- Platinum Partner (265 points and more)

Receive discounts for customer’s purchases and renewals (lifetime commission*). You will receive 30% of the total paid for all types of products.

2. Limitations

a- You earn points only for the new licenses you resell or up-sell to a new customer who is not in an active sales process with us. License renewal does not earn you points. A customer who does not renew his subscription causes you to lose the points acquired following the sales made with him.

b. You must provide us with all of the necessary customer information to correctly identify him.

c. You must be registered as a Qalyptus partner and record the customer before the order’s date.

d. A registered customer must purchase Qalyptus products within the first 60 days. After that, if the lead buys Qalyptus products, you are not eligible to receive a commission.

e. You cannot use partner licenses for your company’s needs or any other product or service sold to your customers (example: OEM solution, API, etc.).

* Perpetual commission: You continue to receive commissions as long as you are in a Silver level or above and the customer renews their subscription.

3. Payment

We apply an instant discount on your license purchases for your customers.

If your customers buy Qalyptus themselves, we pay you a commission. Commissions are paid four times a year. We pay commissions on the 25th of the month for qualified commissions during the previous 3 months.

Promoting Qalyptus

1. Qalyptus Branding

Do:

Use the assets we’ve provided you in this Dropbox folder.

Capitalize the “Q” in “Qalyptus.” You’d be surprised at how many times that doesn’t happen.

Do Not:

Use false or misleading statements on the benefits of using Qalyptus.
Modify or adjust the Qalyptus wordmark in any marketing material you might create, including creating any visual badges or dual-logo lockups.
