Qalyptus is different from most companies when it comes to how we sell software. Our goal is to build incredible, affordable software that people can try before buying. To do this, we rely on a slightly different sales model. Here’s what makes it different:

Use and Evaluations

1. Can I use my license on multiple PCs

Yes, you can. A Qalyptus Desktop license is assigned to a single windows Username; your license will be valid on any PC as long as you log in with your windows account.


2. Can I evaluate a product for free before purchasing it?

You can evaluate a product for 30 days (can be extended to a maximum of 90 days) before purchase, allowing you to see and use Qalyptus before you proceed with a purchase. We provide a fully functional version for evaluation. What you’ll be using during your evaluation is what you’ll be getting when you buy.

All installed evaluations include access to our technical support resources.


3. How do I extend my product evaluation?

We’re happy to extend your product evaluation period for up to 90 days. To request a new evaluation key:

  1. Login to my.qalyptus.com. Go to the Licenses page.
  2. Click ‘New Evaluation License.’ Fill in the information and send it.
  3. We will send you by email a license key with an additional 30 days evaluation time
  4. Apply the key to Qalyptus under the Settings> License.


4. After I purchase a license, do I need to reinstall the software?

There is no need to reinstall your software. Your existing installation can be activated by copying your purchased license key into the ‘License’ tab of your Qalyptus Desktop settings page.

2. Does Qalyptus offer any discounts?

We do not offer any discounts. Our goal is to make awesome applications available at the best price and to treat every customer equally. Our products start at just 40€ per user. We like to build discounts directly into the prices we publish openly to everyone, so there’s no guessing or uncertainty around what you’re buying and how much it costs.


3. Does Qalyptus offer reseller discounts?

If you are a reseller and would like to buy Qalyptus for your customers, please contact us.


1. What is the process for ordering Qalyptus products?

All orders are placed via the secure online Order Form. If you are a reseller, please contact us. Once that is done, an invoice will be sent via email. You can pay the invoice with a credit or by direct bank transfer.


2. How can I request a quote?

Requesting an obligation-free quote is easy! Just use our Order Form, which allows you to pay for your software immediately or save a price quote for later. Only quotes submitted via our online form are considered valid.


3. How can I pay a quote or invoice pending payment?

You can pay an outstanding quote or invoice by credit card or by bank transfer. You can find complete payment details in the quote/invoice that will be sent to you after its creation.


4. Can I request a quote or invoice in a currency other than Euro?

Qalyptus can generate an invoice in Euro (EUR), US Dollars (USD), and Pound Sterling (GBP).

USD is reserved for customers from the following countries: United States, Australia, Virgin Islands, Canada, China, Guernsey, Hong Kong, India, Isle of Man, Japan, Jersey, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, and New Zealand.

GBP is reserved for customers from the UK.

US dollar and GBP quotes and invoices are calculated using an exchange rate that includes a currency fluctuation margin.

Payments & Refunds

1. Which payment methods are accepted?

Qalyptus accepts the following payment methods:

Credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or American Express) via our Secure Order Form.

Bank transfer can take up to 7-14 business days for bank transfers to clear through our banking facilities.


2. I am not in Europe. Will your bank transfer details work?

Of course!! If you choose to pay by bank transfer, please select the “Pay via invoice” payment method when you place your order. We will send you an invoice with instructions on how to make payment.

Only European bank accounts issue IBANs. It may also be useful to tell your bank that this is a Euro account and that the IBAN has been supplied and verified by our bank’s international payments team.


3. After an order has been placed, how and when can the license key be accessed?

Access to your license key(s) is provided only after your payment’s successful receipt and processing. Once payment is received, you can log into my.qalyptus/my-account account, and view all corresponding license keys.


4. Can I get a refund for Qalyptus products?

Yes, you can request a refund of your license up to 30 days after the original date of purchase. After 30 days, refunds will not be available.
